Often a sick child is a term that more and more parents hear. Often sick children are an optional group of children’s health, which includes children who, for some reason, get sick more often than their peers.
Often a sick child is considered to be a child who falls ill with different frequency at different age periods:
Kids under one year old who have been ill at least 4 times
Children under 3 years old who have had at least 6 colds
Children under 5 years old who have been ill more than 4-5 times
Children over 5 years of age – at least 4 cases of the disease
WHAT IS CBD
It should be understood that CBD is not a diagnosis, but a collective medical term. However, special attention is paid to children from this group – such babies are registered with a pediatrician in a polyclinic.
Of course, the figures presented are not objective. A child can get into the group of CBD, being ill and less often than the figures presented – if the pediatrician who has the baby thinks so.
Nevertheless, a child who is often sick is a big headache for parents. If this is a very small child – who goes to kindergarten – immediately there is a problem that someone should stay at home with the child and treat. Moreover, medications prescribed by pediatricians do not always help, and their prices can reach very decent amounts.
The second important problem that should not be forgotten is that a child who is often ill sees his peers less often, does not adapt to society, and in the future feels uncomfortable in the presence of schoolmates. Often there are problems with studying, disinterest in hobbies, hobbies.
The third problem develops in children much later, when they have already grown up and suffer from colds much less often. Children who are often ill are much more likely to develop chronic somatic diseases, including chronic gastritis and stomach ulcers, bronchial asthma, vegetative-vascular dystonia, rheumatism, myocarditis, glomerulonephritis and others.
PREVENTION OF BCD
In order to avoid all this, it is necessary to influence the formation of his immunity even before the birth of a child – a pregnant mother needs to carefully monitor her health, eat right, take vitamins and nutrients. After the birth of the child, it is recommended to keep the baby breastfed, gradually introduce complementary foods, starting with vegetable monosmestions, gradually expanding the baby’s diet.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD IS A BCD
Experienced specialists will never prescribe those medications that will not suit the child or even have a negative impact on health.
It is important to carry out vaccinations on time, since children who are part of the group of often bleating children may have colds exactly at the time when they need to be vaccinated again. Now there are already practices with the preparation of an individual vaccination plan taking into account the individual characteristics of the baby. Of course, there are changes in such calendars, but they cannot differ much from the national vaccination calendar.
In addition to vaccination, seasonal vitamin courses should be carried out, especially vitamin D and C. Thus, regularly feeding the immune system, it is possible to develop a stable improvement in the immunity of the child.
Great importance should be given not only to treatment, but also to immunization and prevention of acute respiratory infections in a child. To do this, it is necessary to vaccinate on time, according to the vaccination calendar, to carry out additional vitamin therapy in the autumn and spring periods, to undergo preventive examinations by pediatricians, as well as narrow specialists.
